This beautiful home located in the Lafayette Square district of St. Louis was in desperate need of an outdoor entertainment area that was on par with the rest of the home. The existing space was cold, dated, and offered little room for entertaining. It was important to provide more room for guests while also keeping the space kid-friendly as the homeowners had two small children. We enlarged the patio to provide more usable space, added a black aluminum handrail and gate around the basement steps, and reserved space in the back corner for a future play area. New lighting provides a great ambiance for outdoor dinners and gatherings around the portable fire pit.
